The Marnix E. Heersink Institute for Biomedical Innovation held a Grand Rounds presentation with speaker Thomas Maddox, M.D., M.Sc., vice president of Digital Products and Innovation at BJC HealthCare and Washington University School of Medicine, on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
Maddox, a renowned non-invasive cardiologist and health services researcher, has contributed significantly to digital transformation and cardiac quality. He is involved in national collaborations and serves on the Board of Trustees for the American College of Cardiology, with over 250 publications showcasing his commitment to optimal care delivery.
Maddox leads the Health Innovation Lab and Digital Products teams at BJC HealthCare and Washington University School of Medicine while also serving as a practicing cardiologist and professor of Medicine. The Health Innovation Lab focuses on AI, predictive analytics, and digital tools for patient care. The Digital Products team executes a strategy for a seamless health care experience through various digital tools.
