UAB’s Center for Exercise Medicine will host its 6th Annual Symposium on Sept. 21, in the Hill Student Center Ballroom. The event will begin with registration and breakfast at 7:45 a.m., and the program of speakers will run until 1:45 (with a lunch break included). The keynote speakers include Fabrisia Ambrosio, Ph.D., MPT, associate professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Pittsburgh, and Alex Hutchinson, Ph.D., physicist, author and journalist from Toronto, Canada.
Two pre-symposium workshop events will also be held on Thursday, Sept. 20. One workshop addresses science communication, and the other is focused on REACT Clinical Trials.
