Rankings like USNWR are just one tool available to patients as they make informed decisions about their health care, and the recognition helps UAB grow both its national and international academic reputation.
I’d like to take the opportunity to offer my sincerest gratitude to all UAB Medicine faculty and staff and UAB Health System leadership for their hard work and dedication. External recognition such as this is truly a reflection of the people who work diligently to make UAB the place where patients want to be treated by world-class providers; where medical and graduate students want to learn; and where scientists want to conduct cutting-edge research. This achievement would not be possible without all of you and the work that you do.
