Bio

Born in St. Louis, MO and mostly raised in northern Alabama, Travis Atchley, M.D., also spent three years living on Kwajalein, an island in the Pacific, where he learned to scuba dive and the importance of sunscreen. He first became interested in neurosurgery during his second year of medical school at UAB and furthered his interest after working with Dr. Rocque in the Department of Pediatric Neurosurgery. Outside of the hospital, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, water skiing, and binge watching 1990s sitcoms on Netflix.
