2026 Request for Applications: UCDC Seed Funding Program for Precision Diabetes
The UAB Comprehensive Diabetes Center (UCDC) invites full-time faculty at any rank to submit applications for the 2026 Seed Funding Program focused on Precision Diabetes. The UCDC will fund studies at up to $50,000 for one year. Projects will be favored if consistent with the focus of this RFA and likely to lead to future NIH funding; multiple PIs are admissible and collaborative applications from different schools and/or different UWIRCs are encouraged. Funding for selected projects is expected to begin Sept. 1, 2026. Applications must be submitted by Friday, June 19 2026, through the online submission form.
