2026 Seed Funding Program for Precision Diabetes - Application Period Closed June 19, 2026
The UAB Comprehensive Diabetes Center (UCDC) Seed Funding Program is open to full-time faculty at any rank and funds studies at up to $50,000 for one year. Projects consistent with the focus of the RFA and likely to lead to future NIH funding are favored. Multiple PIs are admissible and collaborative applications from different schools and/or different UWIRCs are encouraged. Funding for selected projects from the 2026 Request for Applications is expected to begin Sept. 1, 2026.
