The UAB Comprehensive Diabetes Center welcomes Amy W. Richardson as the center's new communications manager.

Richardson joined the UCDC in December 2024 after working as communications specialist in the UAB Department of Radiation Oncology since 2022. She earned her bachelor’s degree in communication studies from UAB and brings many years of experience working in editorial and marketing roles.

Richardson will manage the UCDC’s strategic communications efforts including newsletters, social media, and special projects. You can contact her at amyrichardson@uabmc.edu.
