The newly renovated library offers space to our residents and faculty and houses a print collection of more than 2,000 books related to anesthesia, pain, and critical care medicine.

The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine Library is located on the ninth floor of the Jefferson Tower building in the heart of the UAB Medical Center. UAB students and employees also have access to UAB Libraries’ extensive electronic collection of journals and books. The library is open to non-departmental personnel Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
