Pop-up Poppy Stop
November 8
Stop by one of the AWARE Program's Pop-Up Poppy Stops on November 8 to get a free poppy pin and learn more about the origins of the poppy as a symbol of remembrance and hope.
Undergarments Drive for Vets
Support Birmingham-area vets by donating to the AWARE Program's Undergarments Drive benefiting the Phoenix Clinic at the Birmingham VA Medical Center, November 11-December 2 at locations across campus. Requested items include new undergarments including undershirts, boxers and briefs, and new and gently used T-shirts of all sizes.

Wall of Thanks for Our Vets
Throughout the month of November, pay tribute to our veterans by leaving a message on UAB HR's Wall of Thanks for Our Veterans. Take a moment to write a thank you note, share a story, or simply express your gratitude for their service by filling out the Thank a Veteran form.
