Curriculum Committee

The Curriculum Committee is responsible for reviewing matters and recommending policy pertaining to the curriculum and to the environment for learning and the dissemination of knowledge. Specific matters for review and advice include academic standards and requirements for admission and graduation; the university calendar, academic, research, and service programs, both existing and proposed; and existing policies and procedures, which may affect the environment for learning and the dissemination of knowledge. (Senate Bylaws, Article II.5.a)

The 2026-2027 Faculty Senate Curriculum Committee Chair is Dr. Pius Fasinu in Joint Health Sciences.

Agendas and minutes of the Curriculum Committee, if prepared, are available to access, go to the login information page; read all of the login information; then select the link in the “Meeting Agendas, Minutes, and Other Documents” section. Then login to our SharePoint website. Then, in the far left vertical menu, and click on the committee’s name (if the committee’s name is not displaying, then click on the arrow next to the word “committees” in the menu.)

The Liaison between the Senate Curriculum Committee and the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee (UCC) is Dr. Cristin Gavin, Associate Professor and Associate Dean, School of Joint Health Professions, Neurobiology. The Liaison between the Senate Curriculum Committee and the Graduate Curriculum Committee (GCC) is Dr. Ragib Hasan, Associate Professor, College of Arts and Science, Computer Science.
