BMEGS

The Biomedical Engineering Graduate Student (BMEGS) Organization, established and managed by BME graduate students, was officially recognized as an UAB student organization in the fall of 2009. BMEGS serves as a platform for students to actively participate in steering the direction and growth of the BME Graduate Program at UAB.

BMEGS members actively engage in various activities, including graduate program recruitment, new student orientation, and representing the Department of Biomedical Engineering during guest events such as seminars, faculty recruitment, and lab tours.

In addition to these responsibilities, BMEGS organizes social events and provides opportunities for professional development and networking.
