Philip Zicarelli has spent his entire 30 year career in the heavy industrial sector of engineering and construction. Philip has worked in several capacities during his career including positions in engineering, construction, operations, and management. Philip’s experiences include firsthand knowledge of the full life cycle of safety, from safety in design through construction and operations. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he attained undergraduate and graduate degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Philip currently serves as chair of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Advisory Board, and is a member of the UAB School of Engineering Board of Advisors.
