Lisa Capicik is the Regional Safety Director for Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC - East Region. She oversees field audits reviewing safety programs and suggests improvements to meet best practice standards. She also develops training curriculum and implements and monitors compliance requirements on multiple high-visibility construction projects (including guiding her region to four successful OSHA Partnerships — including the first OSHA Partnership for Mobile Workforce in Region IV). Lisa also co-authors in the Silica Matrix design, published by the Georgia Tech OTI Program outlining silica exposures in the construction industry. This publication is currently being reviewed in the Department of Labor's development of a new silica standard for construction. She is a board member for CEFGA and a member of AIHA, ASSE, and the local chapter of the Construction specialty group. Lisa graduated from Southern Illinois University and has over 20 years of experience in the field of construction safety.
