Jim Pratt is a partner in the firm of Hare, Wynn, Newell & Newton. He is a past president of the Alabama Trial Lawyers Association, past chairman of the Products Liability Section of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, past president of the Alabama State Bar, and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He is a Fellow in the Inner Circle of Advocates, the International Society of Barristers, and the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. He is a member of the American Law Institute and has been designated a Diplomate of Trial Advocacy by the National College of Trial Advocacy. He has been chosen as a Super Lawyer in Alabama and one of the top 500 lawyers in America by Law Dragon. Pratt has served as a faculty member for the Continuing Legal Education program for the University of Alabama Law School, Cumberland School of Law, Birmingham Bar Association, Alabama Bar Association, Alabama Trial Lawyers Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the National College of Advocacy.
