Charles Peek holds a mechanical engineering degree from Vanderbilt University (1991) and an M.B.A. from UAB (2002). Charles joined AMERICAN as a young process engineer in 1991 and over the last 20 years, he served in various leadership positions in the casting, heat treating, and processing of ductile iron pipe. Charles currently holds an executive position as Vice President and Works Manager for AMERICAN’s Manufacturing Division and member of AMERICAN’s Board of Management and Board of Directors. He was also an officer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers from 1991-2008 (Reserve) and he served Active Duty Mobilization for Operation Enduring Freedom in 2003. His technical and professional activities include membership in the American Foundry Society, Mechanical Engineering Advisory Board of the University of Alabama, and the ACIPCO Leadership Association.
