Brian joins UAB Theatre with a diverse background in community and educational theater, as well as performing arts venue management. His theater experience spans acting, producing, directing, design, and technical direction for a variety of theaters and educational institutions.
In addition to his artistic work, Brian brings extensive venue management experience, including roles at the Louis Kahn-designed Arts United Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and the Leslie S. Wright Fine Arts Center at Samford University.
At UAB theatre his responsibilities include booking and coordinating touring companies, grant writing, organizing special events, and creating promotional media, supporting the department's artistic, educational, and outreach initiatives.
