Due to inclement winter weather, UAB Transportation will be making adjustments to parking and other services.

• Parking
  • Parking gates will be raised today by 4 p.m. at the following locations for open parking. Top levels at each deck will be closed/barricaded.
    • 5th Avenue Parking Deck
      • Gates will be lowered on Tuesday at 9 p.m.
    • 6th Avenue Parking Deck
      • Gates will be lowered on Tuesday at 9 p.m.
    • Kirklin Deck
      • If clinic operations resume on Tuesday at 1 p.m. as projected, gates will be lowered into normal operation at Noon.
    • Lot 188
      • If clinic operations resume on Tuesday at 1 p.m. as projected, gates will be lowered into normal operation at Noon.
• Blazer Express bus service
  • Service will run normal schedule tonight as long as streets are safe for travel.
  • If streets are safe and open for travel, Silver/TKC route service will begin from Express Lot 4 on Tuesday at Noon.
  • No bus service if streets are unsafe or closed for travel.
• Highlands Shuttle service
  • Service will run normal schedule today as long as streets are safe for travel.
  • If streets are safe and open for travel, service to begin on Tuesday at Noon.
  • No service if streets are unsafe or closed for travel.
• UAB Safety Escort
  • Safety Escorts provided by UAB Security Services if needed.
• Motorist Assisted Road Service (MARS)
  • Service will run normal schedule tonight as long as streets are safe for travel.
  • No service on Tuesday.
