UAB Transportation has lowered student permit pricing as part of the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s hybrid model fall semester.

“We want to try to accommodate students as they navigate this hybrid model while maintaining a sustainable transportation system,” said André Davis, director of UAB Transportation. “Our permit prices reflect the fixed costs of providing parking while being mindful of the expectation that students will be on campus less.”

The updated pricing can be found on the Student Rates page. Permits go on sale at 12:00 a.m. July 1st. No payment is due when the order is placed; the cost of the permit will be applied to the student’s account. Please note that permit rates for the spring have not been determined.
