UAB Transportation will suspend several Blazer Express routes and Blaze Ride service beginning May 1 in anticipation of reduced passenger loads during the summer semester.
“Each of the routes and services will return for the fall semester, when passenger demand increases,” said Brian Atkinson, executive director of UAB Transportation. “In the meantime, we encourage people to utilize many of our other transportation options available during the summer.”
The South Green route will be suspended the week of May 1-5, while the following will be suspended for the summer:
- North Green
- Purple
- Blaze Ride
Eligible Blaze Ride users should contact UAB Transportation to make special arrangements during the summer.
