The UAB student organization Donor to Diner, along with UAB Campus Restaurants, will host its second meal donation event at the Commons on the Green. Donor to Diner allows students to donate a meal to benefit fellow Blazers facing food insecurity. This semester, the program is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 11, 4-8 p.m. and Friday, Feb. 12, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. 

Students can donate a meal from a UAB meal plan or $10 in dining dollars, Blazer Bucks, cash, or credit card to provide one meal. UAB case managers will distribute the meal vouchers to deserving students. 

No meal plan? You won't be on campus to stop by the Commons to donate? No problem! Donations can also be made through Tapingo. Select the Donor to Diner Meal Donation option within the app, and use your funds to help those in need. 

Last year, over 450 meals were donated. This time, the goal is to reach 500!
