UAB Student Involvement & Leadership and UAB Career & Professional Development have combined forces to host the 2018 Volunteer Fair on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, from 12-2 p.m. in the Hill Student Center Amphitheater.
   
   Representatives from multiple organizations will be lined up in the Hill Student Center Amphitheater to offer dynamic volunteer and internship experiences to UAB's undergraduate and graduate students. Opportunities will span a range of disciplines, including healthcare, environmental sustainability, education and more.
   
   "Internship and volunteer offerings play a critical role in transforming student lives," said David Dada, coordinator of leadership and service for Student Involvement. "These experiences give students a chance to make a difference in their local community, develop practical work experience, attain leadership training, apply knowledge from the classroom, network and secure mentors. We really encourage each and every Blazer to get involved!"
