At UAB we believe in the importance of creating a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all members of our community. To help guide our students on campus and beyond we have partnered with EVERFI to provide training sessions that will help students be informed on topics vital to achieving our goal.
Complete EVERFI Sexual Assault Prevention Ongoing: Taking Action course and learn to explore the relationships between identity and bystander intervention to decrease individual barriers to taking action. Participants will be able to strengthen their ability to intervene when friends engage in unsafe or unhealthy behavior, and to step in earlier--before a situation escalates.
The first 500 students to complete the training will receive a bundle of swag, including a free T-Shirt, in addition to being entered to win Airpods, an iPad Mini, and more!
