Available to all students, Student Counseling Services (SCS) and Student Affairs are returning this fall to offer Question, Persuade and Refer (QPR) training. On top of that, Mental Health First Aid (MFHA) training will also be offered.
QPR training will teach you how to identify and assist someone suffering from a mental health crisis. Students will learn about campus resources and suicide warning signs, whether it be verbal, situational, or behavioral cues. Training days are:

SCS is also offering Mental Health First Aid training, which teaches students how to identify and address mental health and substance issues with those they know. Lunch will be provided for all participants.
