UAB Career and Professional Development (CPD) is hosting a panel entitled “Careers in Government” to help students explore the inner-workings of the political industry. The event takes place on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017, from 4-5 p.m. in the Hill Student Center Ballroom A and B.

CPD is calling all government majors, including public health, political science, public administration, business and criminal justice to attend this panel. There will be an opportunity to hear from and direct questions to representatives who work in local, state and federal government. Discussion topics will focus on the variety of opportunities available and the great benefits of working in government roles. Light refreshments will also be provided.
