UAB Transportation and Student Assistance & Support are delighted to announce an additional stop to the Blazer Market Route. Starting September 9, beloved local shop, Hometown Supermarket will be the route’s newest grocery store alongside other stops which include Walmart, Mi Pueblo, and Super Oriental Market.

Participants are able to use this service to shop at local grocery stores to find fresh, quality, and nutritious groceries. Students are encouraged to bring their handy reusable grocery bags for stocking up on essentials, favorite ingredients, personal hygiene products, and more.

The Blazer Express will pick students up from the Hill Student Center, across from the Starbucks, on 14th St. and 7th Ave. The bus will run its schedule every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the entirety of the fall 2023 semester. This service is free and available to all currently enrolled UAB students who present their valid ONE Card.
