The Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) invites stakeholders and community members to join a pivotal virtual event titled "Healthcare Equity for People Who are Disabled." Scheduled for Wednesday, June 26, 2024 from 10:00 to 11:30 am, this event aims to foster dialogue and action around enhancing healthcare accessibility and outcomes for individuals with disabilities.

Participants will engage in discussions encompassing disability rights, advocacy efforts, and strategies to improve patient care. The event provides a collaborative platform for sharing resources, raising awareness, and identifying actionable steps to promote inclusivity within healthcare systems.
