2019 Fieldwork Updates
Fieldwork is a vital part of the academic training for all entry-level occupational therapy students and we could not do what we do without our excellent on-site fieldwork educators.
We constantly hear excellent stories of collaboration between students and fieldwork educators regarding how to critically think and provide client-centered, occupation-based interventions. As our numbers continue to grow, more and more of our alumni reach out with the desire to accommodate and assist with educating our students.
We are extremely proud of our alumni all over country who have reached out from cities such as Las Vegas, Houston, Boston, Chicago, Atlanta and New York City to investigate the possibility of hosting students. Over the past few years, our student numbers and needs have increased and again we are grateful to multiple sites who have prepared our students well. We wanted to share some numbers from the past few years to highlight our gratitude.
