UAB Comprehensive Healthy Living Research Center
Comprehensive Healthy Living Research Center has extended the deadline to apply for Innovations in Community-Engaged and Population Health Research to Address Chronic Disease. Up to $75,000 is available for 2-3 research projects focused on population-level improvements in chronic disease rates and/or outcomes through community-engaged research. Interested applicants should submit a Letter of Intent by Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at 5:00 PM CT.

UAB Alzheimer's Disease Research Center
The UAB Alzheimer's Disease Research Center invites faculty to apply for the Research Education Component (REC) Scholars program. Up to $25,000 of funding is available for 3 research projects focused on Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD) research. Interested applicants should submit an application on our website by June 15, 2026.

UAB Comprehensive Diabetes Center
The UAB Comprehensive Diabetes Center (UCDC) invites faculty to apply for the 2026 Seed Funding Program. Up to $50,000 is available for research projects focused on Precision Diabetes. Interested applicants should submit an application by 5 p.m. June 19, 2026.

Vision Science Research Center
The Vision Science Research Center invites faculty to apply for its FY2026 pilot grants. Up to $20,000 for single-PI and $50,000 for multi-PI proposals is available to support development of competitive NIH proposals. Interested applicants should submit an application by June 22, 2026.
