Description: The lab studies cancer signaling and drug development. We are interested in brain tumor suppressor proteins of the ADGRB1-3 subfamily of adhesion GPCR as well as HIF transcription factors. Cancers being investigated include malignant brain tumors (medulloblastoma and glioblastoma) as well as eye melanoma and skin carcinomas.
Fun Fact: The PI loves croissants and is always on the lookout for a nice bakery offering great coffee and baked goods. He enjoys renovating his old historic house or playing table tennis on the weekends.
