BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Eta Sigma Gamma (ESG) Beta Chi chapter executive board at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) has established the Clint Bruess Health Education Scholarship.
The scholarship is named after former UAB Professor Clint E. Bruess, Ed.D., who was dean of the UAB School of Education from 1988 until 1999. The scholarship will be awarded annually to an undergraduate health education student beginning this fall.
Bruess was a professor and chairman of the School of Education's Department of Human Studies from 1981 until 1987.
Eta Sigma Gamma is a national health education honor society.
