Last year brothers from Delta Sigma Phi at UAB wanted to raise $15,000 to support Camp ASCCA. They did that and more by exceeding their goal and raising $23,000. This year the 60 brothers hope to again exceed their $15,000 goal by enlisting business sponsors to donate $60 a piece and individual sponsors to contribute what they can.

A second group of UAB volunteers, members of Alpha Epsilon Delta, the pre-health Honor Society at UAB, are jumping on the rollercoasters with Delta Sigma Phi to raise money for The Balm of Gilead Center at Cooper Green. Their sponsorship goal for their 100 members is $10,000.

Please make checks payable to Easter Seals Camp ASCCA or Cooper Green Foundation Balm of Gilead

More than 95 percent of ASCCA campers visiting each summer need full or partial sponsorship each year. The regular week-long session fee is $675 www.campascca.org.

The Balm of Gilead provides a homelike environment and care for the terminally ill. The center is self-sustaining and relies on contributions to remain open.
