BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB Department of English will present "An Evening With Kim Sunée," author of the memoir "Trail of Crumbs: Hunger, Love, and the Search for Home," 5:30 - 7 p.m. Oct. 16 at The Fish Market Restaurant, 612 22nd St. S. The cost is $30. All proceeds will benefit the UAB Department of English Recruiting Scholarship.

In "Trail of Crumbs: Hunger, Love, and the Search for Home" Sunée traces her quest for identity, from her abandonment at age 3 in Korea, her adoption and upbringing in New Orleans, to her romance with a French multimillionaire in the High Alps of Provence.
