BIRMINGHAM, AL — The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) First Thursday Lecture Series offers college students and the Birmingham community an opportunity to meet and learn from active scholars, leaders, researchers and artists. The lectures are held at 6 p.m. on the first Thursday of the month in the UAB Spencer Honors House, 1190 10th Avenue South. The series is sponsored by the UAB Honors Program.
