University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) senior history major Adam Pinson, 21, of Pinson, Alabama, has advanced to the finals in the 2005 “Jeopardy!” College Championship. The two-game final match will air at 6:30 p.m. tonight, November 17, and on Friday, November 18, on WIAT-42.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) senior history major Adam Pinson, 21, of Pinson, Alabama, has advanced to the finals in the 2005 “Jeopardy!” College Championship. The two-game final match will air at 6:30 p.m. tonight, November 17, and on Friday, November 18, on WIAT-42.

The annual “Jeopardy!” College Championship began November 7. The show was taped at North Carolina State University in early October.

This year’s College Champion is guaranteed a $100,000 cash prize and a trophy. The second place contestant is guaranteed a minimum of $50,000 and the third place contestant will receive a minimum of $25,000.

Pinson is a 2002 graduate of Pinson Valley High School. He is the son of Nancy and Robert Pinson.
