Buy Concert Program Ad, Help Support UAB Gospel Choir’s Live CD/DVD Project

Businesses, churches, family members, friends or former choir members can place an ad, a coupon, an announcement or send best wishes in the program book, which will be seen by thousands of people. Contact any choir member, or contact Choir Director Kevin P. Turner at 205-934-6155 or kturner@uab.edu for detailed information. The deadline for all ads is Monday, Nov. 5.

Kick off the holiday season with the UAB Gospel Choir at their 12th anniversary concert, when 150 voices will take to the stage with a band, dance and mime team, steppers and a spoken word orator. Tickets are $7; $5 for UAB students, employees with valid I.D. and children 12 years and under. Tickets are on sale now at all UAB Ticket offices, 205-934-8001, and the Alys Stephens Center’s Box Office, 205-975-2787. Tickets are available at the door; patrons are encouraged to buy tickets in advance.

The UAB Gospel Choir is a performance class in the UAB Department of Music that performs contemporary and traditional American gospel music. It is open to all UAB students. Registration is required. The class is repeatable for one credit hour.
