| Angel A. Gómez-Cintrón, M.D., completed medical school and residency training in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine.He then pursued fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology at UT Health San Antonio.
Dr. Gómez-Cintrón is a long time academic radiologist and has served as the Radiology residency program director and chief of the musculoskeletal and body imaging sections at the University of Puerto Rico, University of Alabama at Birmingham and UT Health San Antonio. He has served in different leadership positions including chief of MRI, director of outpatient imaging centers, chair of diversity and inclusion committees and director of medical student education among other roles. He is passionate about education, physician wellness advocacy, inclusion and mentorship. His main areas of clinical expertise are musculoskeletal imaging and intervention as well as emergency radiology. When not doing clinical work, Dr. Gómez-Cintrón spends time with his children, staying active in social media and pursuing fitness.Contact InformationAdministrative Support: |
