The UAB Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurobiology hosted its 2024 Annual Research Symposium on April 23. Nathaniel G. Harnett, Ph.D., of Harvard Medical School and McLean Hospital and alumnus of the UAB Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurobiology, was welcomed as the event’s guest speaker.
Faculty presentations featured Lillian J. Brady, Ph.D., Jennifer Lockman, Ph.D., and Michael “Alex” Owens, Ph.D., and were followed by oral and poster presentations from department trainees.
“I am grateful to all the faculty speakers for their engaging presentations,” said Yogesh Dwivedi, Ph.D., director of the Division of Behavioral Neurobiology and vice chair for faculty affairs/faculty development. “I sincerely appreciate the hard work of each of the trainees and the immense effort of their mentors, which led to such impressive presentations.”
