On July 31, 2023, the Department of Pathology welcomes a new faculty member to the Division of Women’s Health.

Hui Zhang, M.D., joins the department as assistant professor, Women’s Health. Zhang was previously a gynecologic/surgical pathology fellow and clinical instructor at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Zhang received her medical degree from Tianjin Medical University in Tianjin, China. She completed her residency in neurology at Peking University First Hospital in Beijing. In 2021, Zhang also finished a second residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. In 2022, Zhang completed a fellowship in breast pathology at the University of Chicago before joining Loyola University Medical Center as a gynecologic/surgical pathology fellow and clinical instructor. She is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and is a member of the College of American Pathologists, American Medical Association and Chicago Pathology Society.
