Two Department of Otolaryngology residents were recently elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society at UAB for their commitment to scholarship, leadership, professionalism, and service.
Two Department of Otolaryngology residents were recently elected to the Delaney Sheehan, M.D., PGY-1, and Ashwini Tilak, M.D., PGY-3, will be inducted into AOA on March 17 at the society’s induction ceremony.
About 3,000 students, alumni, house staff, and faculty are elected each year. Since its founding in 1902, more than 150,000 members have been elected to the society.
