Ghanem's research maintains a vision to expand both the basic science and clinical research programs of the department.
Amit Momaya, M.D. - Section Chief, Sports Medicine
Dr. Momaya has been instrumental in growing the department's sports medicine program by building relationships with UAB Athletics and the Birmingham Legion FC. His work on clinical efficiencies has resulted in improved care for patients and his interest in outcomes research is critical to the success of the department's clinical research enterprise.
Jonathan Quade, M.D. - Section Chief, Trauma
Dr. Quade has been key in acquiring needed resources for the orthopaedic trauma program. His ongoing collaboration with Acute Care Surgery and the UAB Health System has shaped the transformation of the orthopaedic trauma service.
