Several faculty members and residents participated in a symposium or paper sessions at the 2020 Orthopaedic Trauma Association Meeting, which was virtual this year.
The meeting was held on Oct. 21 – 24. Assistant Professor Clay Spitler, M.D. moderated a symposium on Oct. 24: “Maximizing Outcomes in Tibial Pilon Fractures.” As moderator, Spilter led the session and the three participating faculty members. Spitler also served as a faculty member in the symposium "Challenges in Tibial Plateau Fractures."
On the last day of the conference, several faculty and residents participated in a lightening 20-minute Paper Session Q&A within the “Pelvis and Acetabulum” category. Those presentations are noted below, with the main presenter underlined and UAB Orthopaedic Surgery faculty or residents bolded.
