Two Department of Orthopaedic Surgery staff members were recently promoted. Both Kasey Lolley and KaDezia Bouyer were promoted to patient services coordinator (PSC) II.
Lolley was a patient encounter specialist front desk employee in the Orthopaedic Surgery Clinic, and her PSC II position specializes in scheduling surgeries and tests. Bouyer was a certified medical assistant in the Orthopaedic Surgery Clinic, and her position will include working with the Advanced Practice Providers to assist them in their clinical practice.
As patient services coordinators, both Lolley and Bouyer will work to ensure each patient has a great experience with the department. They will manage high volumes of patient scheduling as well as screen and schedule new patients for the providers that they support. They will also be responsible for scheduling follow-up appointments for patients who call in to schedule or reschedule appointments.
