On April 16, 2025, at 5:00 p.m., UAB Medicine will host Maternal Health for All 2025: Maternal Health in Focus, an event dedicated to raising awareness and fostering dialogue on critical maternal health issues, at Sidewalk Film Center & Cinema.

The evening will feature a screening of Toxic, a compelling documentary that explores the intersection of chronic stress, maternal health, and infant mortality. This thought-provoking film sheds light on the systemic challenges faced by mothers and infants, particularly in vulnerable communities.
