For board-certified physicians, the U.S. News & World Report (USNWR) Best Hospitals rankings are a unique opportunity to acknowledge institutions that excel in patient care, innovation and clinical excellence.
UAB Hospital is consistently recognized by the USNWR as one of the nation’s top hospitals for neurology and neurosurgery, a distinction that reflects the dedication of the Departments of Neurosurgery and Neurology’s faculty and staff.
The 2026 voting period is now open and will run through the month of March.
Before casting your vote, here are five things to know:
Who can vote
Physicians who are board certified in one or more of the ranked specialties and registered on Doximity are eligible to participate in the Best Hospitals survey. Participating providers can vote for one or multiple hospitals, and every vote counts toward a hospital’s reputation score.
How to vote
To ensure eligibility, physicians should verify that their Doximity account is active and up to date with current licenses and certifications. If you haven’t claimed your Doximity profile, visit Doximity.com and click “Find My Profile.” During the voting period, registered users should receive an email from Doximity regarding voting. If an email is not received, eligible physicians can access the survey by simply logging into their Doximity account.
When voting happens
Best Hospitals voting will remain open through the month of March.
