Meghan Wright joins the UAB Department of Neurosurgery as a spine advanced practice provider (APP) with nearly 7 years of experience caring for neurosurgical patients.
 
Wright has worked in the neuro/trauma ICU in Dallas, TX, and at UAB Hospital in the post-anesthesia care unit and radiology department.
 
Wright earned her both her Bachelor and Master of Science in nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, with a concentration in neurology and as a registered nurse first assist. She is board certified as an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She also holds a CCRN certification by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.
 
Wright lives in Birmingham with her husband Ben and their 2 dogs, Dallas and Bama. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and attending Alabama football games.
