About LS Charitable
LS Charitable, a non-profit foundation, was created to honor the memory of Wordlaw “Law” Ramsey Stuart IV, who lost his battle with glioblastoma in 2022.
According to his family and friends, Stuart was a family man, a friend to many and a cornhole enthusiast.
One of Stuart’s physicians, UAB Department of Neurosurgery James Garber Galbraith Endowed Chair of Neurosurgery James Markert, M.D., MPH, laments that, “while there is no cure today [for brain cancer], we will get there.”
The LS Charitable mission is to support the research required to advance brain cancer treatment, advocate for brain cancer patients and their families and bring awareness to the reality of a brain cancer diagnosis.
