The UAB Department of Neurosurgery is thrilled to welcome Beth Hungerpiller as a new intern.

Originally from Snoqualmie, Washington, Beth's passion for healthcare brought her to Birmingham to complete her undergrad in healthcare management at UAB. She is currently a senior and hopes to obtain her master in healthcare administration as well as her master of business administration.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking and yoga and has become well acquainted with Red Mountain state park, Pepper Place farmers market and the wonderful food scene Birmingham has to offer. 

"I am excited for the opportunity to work and learn from those associated within a healthcare setting and to get involved within the Neurosurgery team."
