On Jan. 8, 2024, the University of Alabama at Birmingham welcomed Elizabeth McRae, Ph.D., as an assistant professor in the Department of Neurosurgery.
McRae joins the department from the University of Alabama Department of Psychology and Autism Spectrum Disorders Clinic.
Before completing her doctoral degree in clinical psychology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, McRae earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Francis Marion University.
In her role, McRae will serve as a pediatric clinical psychologist in the department’s Division of Pediatric Neurosurgery.
