Scott Kendall will join the UAB Department of Neurosurgery as the director of fiscal affairs on Feb. 19, 2024.

Kendall has spent much of his career in the healthcare finance industry. Prior to joining the Department of Neurosurgery, he served as chief financial officer and chief operating officer for MetroDerm, one of metro Atlanta's largest dermatology practices. Before his time at MetroDerm, Scott worked in commercial banking with a focus on assisting healthcare practices.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family at his home on Lake Martin. His hobbies include playing golf and rooting for his alma mater, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as his childrens’ alma maters, Auburn University and the University of Georgia.
