The UAB Department of Neurosurgery welcomes Andie Dewhurst as a student working in the research lab of Assistant Professor Matthew J. Nelson, Ph.D.

Dewhurst, a recent UAB graduate, majored in English with a concentration in linguistics, and minored in creative writing, philosophy and ancient history. They are interested in sociological language development and mental health initiatives.
