Audrey joined the Harbert Institute in 2023 with more than a decade of legal experience, including in intellectual property law and civil litigation.

She is a member of the patent bar and Alabama state bar and worked as an associate at a law firm in Birmingham and as a career law clerk for the Honorable Abdul K. Kallon before joining UAB in 2021 as a Sponsored Programs Analyst in the Office of Sponsored Programs.

Audrey earned her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and biology from the University of Missouri. Prior to law school, Audrey taught high school chemistry and worked as a research technician in the Biosciences Division at Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Outside of work, Audrey enjoys volunteering with St. Andy’s Food Pantry, traveling with her family, walking her dogs, hiking, reading, and gardening.
